Hi Tanay - great question! In my experience, EY is a great place to start a career in Consulting, as you get to work alongside industry experts and product managers to gain hands-on experience. Despite starting straight from sixth-form, I have always felt supported and been encouraged to continue my personal development in topics that interest me (e.g. diving into the Metaverse and exploring how we can re-imagine training delivery). I have also had the opportunity to sit in a few different teams, getting to work colleagues and clients across multiple countries which helped expand my experience and network. If you have any specific questions about EY, working in Consulting or my role, feel free to reach out, happy to help 😊

Thank you so much Rosie for getting back to it. That's interesting to hear about you engaged with the firm, from 6th form...! I can literally sense it, what you mean and what's I am looking forward to as being a fresh graduate, and working at the EY as a Jr. Consultant and grow my career accordingly with industry leaders like you and other senior peers, along side making an impact to the clients / businesses you work for - and making lifelong connections.

If you can please share insights on how being getting selected as a graduate looks like... I am already in the application for one graduate role applied, and I have been invited to the EY Experience Day in London office on 6th February this week. Any tips please, if you can share on how to prepare, and get know-how to attend this event... Many Thanks.

Hi Tanay - that's great to hear and I hope the Experience Day went well! This part of the application processes is a great opportunity to meet with like minded people and explore if a role at EY is right for you. I don't have oversight into the process, but I would recommend in this period researching into market trends and reaching out to people in your interested area to find out what the role is like (e.g. via LinkedIn). This will give you a great starting point for when you land a role at EY or elsewhere, and give you some good talking points. AI is also a big focus area, so I'd suggest exploring some basic AI tools to learn how AI creates real business outcomes and how you could implement this in your day-to-day practices.

Best of luck with you application process 😁

Thanks for replying back. That's great to hear about, and also how AI i.e. - EY.ai is also playing a crucial role at the firm and its further options. My experience day and feedback report was good enough, but unfortunately I didn't make it this time. Hopefully next time with much more preparation to my aspired career and business line. Many Thanks.
