Despite our depth of industrial experience, wealth of subject matter experts on emerging technologies and extensive network of innovation centres across multiple markets and geographical locations (to name a few), I have found that what really differentiates us from the rest of the big four is our culture – a sentiment echoed by most of our clients.
EY boasts a relatively flat collegiate culture where cross-service line collaboration is fostered and encouraged. This brings about a real sense of community when carrying out our daily activities. As a result, its no surprise to see we are once more ranked no.1 most attractive professional services employer for a fourth consecutive year 😊
EY has technology and innovation as a central focus in the global strategy, the amount we invest is unparalleled. The firm is constantly ensuring we maintain relevance in alignment with the changing industry, new regulation and our exploration as well as adoption of new trends is faster than most organisations. As a graduate I have already been given the opportunity to get involved in a vast amount of technology projects and initiatives - as we have such a large scope, not only in terms of the tech but also our client portfolio, being able to find your passion through meeting new people and learning about new emerging technologies is made easier. In my opinion, all the Big 4 are exploring technology however EY are trailblazing and our maturity in this space is much further ahead. Hope that helps, let me know if you have any further/specific questions.
I agree with Eiman, at EY we have invested heavily in technology and AI to help us deliver smarter and more efficient solutions. EY offer lots of opportunities to upskill and take part in training, to support both personal development and our clients. Our partnerships with big tech companies like Microsoft and SAP also means we can offer the latest and best technology to our clients and our people.
Another key differentiator is our global presence and local expertise, allowing us to provide solutions that work everywhere. For example, I recently worked on a cross-consulting project where we utilised expertise from across the globe, to help personalise our response and provide a market-leading approach. It's exciting working for a company that has such a global network and encourages collaboration cross-borders to ensure the best solution is reached.
