Olivia P. asked a question to Rosie M.
Hi Olivia - happy to share! I joined EY straight from sixth form, which was both exciting and challenging. My early roles were in technology and innovation teams within People Consulting, mostly focused on developing workflow solutions for clients. Despite having little experience, I really enjoyed upskilling during the apprenticeship and had some great highlights (including a solo trip to Spain to deliver a client presentation, developing a virtual environment of a power station for a large energy client, and winning the EY Bake-off!).
I'd say my biggest obstacle was at the very start, learning to balance study and work. It was a steep learning curve but ultimately a rewarding one, as since completing my apprenticeship, I have been promoted to Senior and most recently Manager. I am now working on a global consulting tool, which allows me to collaborate with colleagues across different regions. EY has some amazing people who will support you throughout your career and beyond, and I've been privileged to work with some incredible teammates. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask 😊
