How do I enter people consulting considering my current level of experience?

Jacob F. asked a question to Rosie M.

Soon I will become an associate of the CIPD and want to work in people advisory. I work in my apprenticeship in a business partner capacity currently and I want to transfer the skills I have gained like stakeholder engagement and communication into a consulting role that suits my skillset in people.

Hi Jacob - sounds like People Consulting would be a great fit for your skillset. Your route into EY depends on what you want to do next, we have opportunities for higher apprenticeships, as well as experienced hires. I would recommend taking the time to research the specific area that excites you, and exploring the open roles on our careers site. Understanding market trends and current news in this sector will also help with the application process, as it demonstrates your curiosity and commitment to the field. If you have any questions on what it's like to work at EY, let me know 😊
