There would not be a need to hire an additional tutor outside of the tutors you have access to during your college blocks
You have access to the tutors who teach each of your modules and can contact them for any questions
All resources needed will be provided to you by your college provider and can be used for your own study sessions
Second what Hania has said - the college time and resources given are enough to get through it. The most important thing is you put the time in to revise and aim for first time passes. The time I was closest to failing was when I tried to put off revision until the later weeks and had to catchup. Front-load!
Thank you!
What happens if you fail an exam?
It's service line dependent. Depending on the mark you get you'll either have to sit a 'pass strategy' or 'capability' meeting to discuss what you'll do differently next. Generally if you have the mark for a 'pass strategy' you'll be given another attempt, although it's not guaranteed by any means. If you fail twice it's much less likely you'll be able to resit again.
