Hi Chiara - So the main ones would be -
Technology Risk - Part of Advisory, although does a lot of work with Assurance. This involves working with clients in order to test their Technology capabilities, often as part of a wider yearly audit.
Cyber Security - Fairly self explanatory, involves working with clients to develop, test, and improve their cyber security systems
Technology Consulting - Covers a very broad area, but involves helping clients improve any area of their business which relates to technology. For example, a client may approach us wanting to implement a new piece of software, and EY will be involved in helping to implement this new piece of software across the business
Hi Luke, this sounds very positive to me due to my love of technology. I am due to start in September as an apprentice in Assurance at the Manchester office. Will there be any opportunities for me to join the technology risk team / partake in some of their projects?
Hi Luke, I work within UKI Technology Risk in the Manchester office. We work alongside the Assurance team as the IT experts on external audits. So although we are separate teams we do work in partnership to complete the external audit.
That sounds very interesting! Thank you Rose :)
You're welcome James!
Thank you so much!
