Hi, team, I want to know that will the current work visa policies affect Assurance graduate offer holders who are scheduled to start in September this year in Birmingham office? Does the company currently have any internal policies to address this?
Hi Jiachen, we do not currently have an update from the Home Office. Once we have received this, we should know more on how this may impact new joiners
If the home office states that skilled worker visa holders maximum salary threshold has increased from what it is now, will our offers be rescinded or will be given a new offer?
Since I am a recent graduate, will the salary threshold be less than the required amount (the new entrant visa)?
I have an offer in the London office and my offer says the salary is TBC. When will I get clarity on it and is it due to the home office and the immigration policy?
Asma, I think it states on the gov.uk website that if you are a recent graduate you are allowed to be paid 70% to 90% less than the maximum salary threshold, which is said to be increased to 38100. Therefore if your stated salary is above £26k/£27k, I believe you should be fine.
Thanks Yanish!
