What make you committed to Assurance Team?
Hi Linh!
I enjoy working in EY Assurance as almost every day is different :) I enjoy the ability to work in a team, understand how businesses work & ultimately contribute to completing an audit.
I've spent time in Audit, data analytics and FAAS so can help answer Qs on that if helpful!
Could you please clarify for me different between Audit and Assurance? Is Audit is a team within Assurance?
Yep correct! - Audit is the main sub service line in Assurance, but other teams such as Financial Accounting Advisory Service fall under Assurance too :)

You can take a look at what makes up the "Assurance" service line at the link above ^
Thank you so much. If I join the Internship in Assurance, which team will I have chance to have exposure to?
I believe when applying you get to choose a sub service line when applying - e.g. Audit, Banking (Financial Services), Financial Accounting Advisory Service (FAAS) etc.-- I believe on the ey website you can see more on the different sub service lines we have :)
Thank you. Could you tell me a bit about daily task in Audit and FAAS please?
Of course!
Again - varies hugley from day to day
In audit it can be anything from working on a stock take one day (at a client site), to performing test of detail of invoices or having calls with clients to understand their financial processes.
In FAAS its a more of a "consulting" based role - e.g. can be helping them to develop a new process / calculation method of their financial metrics - for me in a data team, that can be a lot of working in programs like PowerBI/ Alteryx
*and to add to FAAS - presenting back to clients along with getting their direction
Thank you so much for your avdice! Have a nice evening
You too!
