Hi, I actually work in the life insurance team but I have had the opportunity to work in the non-life team as well. The non-life team do a lot of reserving projects which involve reproducing client numbers, projecting future cashflows and verifying assumptions that they have made in their projections.
My decision to join the life team was largely driven by my location preference, I had previously done a summer internship in business consulting in Bristol and I wanted to rejoin the Bristol office.
At EY the non-life team are all in the London office, the life team are spread across London, Bristol and Edinburgh and the pensions team are in Leeds and London.
