Does it commence January of each year then pro-rated by the month you join? If so how many days leave would someone have starting in September?
It restarts every January, you should a pro-rated amount of annual leave for your time from September to January
You can also roll over up to 25% of your allowance to the next year
You'll get around 4.8 days, if I remember correctly from last year for that period
Although if you want 5 days that can be sorted - the 4.8 is just due to the pro-rated calculation
Does the Christmas period 28-30th count as taking days off even though the firm is closed?
Yes - those three days count towards your allowance, but if you dont have enough holiday days you can speak to your team and see what options are available to you
Thanks Kat and Luke- one more thing, how much does buying a day off cost?
It will be pro-rata depending on your salary if that makes sense
Thanks!
