Hey Abeera :) I work within People Consulting, which is probs quite similar to Business/Tech Consulting - So will try to answer this question.

The unhelpful answer is that it completely depends on your project/engagement and client needs! For instance, on my current engagement, I only had to travel from London to Milton Keynes every 6 weeks or so.
