New graduates are not expected to have lots of prior experience or to take the lead on projects. I think the general 'mission' for new graduates is to show up excited and willing to learn. Be proactive at trying to get wider experience on different aspects of your projects, don't be afraid to ask questions, and try to perform any work you get to a high standard. If you can prove to your team that you are a reliable team member then you will get given more opportunities to take more ownership of aspects of the project.
