I did my internship in SaT in UK&I not FS, not sure how different they are but a typical day for me was working a lot for the first couple weeks with my buddy who I was on the same project as, and they showed me the sort of basics and I would shadow them or help them out for most of the time. There were lots of social activities as well for interns, as well as other activities such as a partner breakfast with all the interns. I also spent a day shadowing a partner to see what a day looks like for them. As the internship went on I spent more time with other people in the team who needed my help on bits of work here and there, and I spent a few hours in the week doing online learning courses.
