Your colleagues have asked on the Facebook page to prepare all the necessary forms. Is this something I should have received? Many Thanks!
Hi Carys, this is not something that you need to provide just yet. We will be reaching out to request this information over the coming weeks, to ensure that your tax information is as up to date as possible. Please keep an eye on your emails for further guidance.
Okay thank you Mollie!
I also wondered (if I am allowed to ask another question in this thread) - will we be sent laptops / monitors in the post before April? I assume all this info will be sent to us soon :) thanks in advance!
Hi Carys - of course you can ask multiple questions! So yes in cases where students are starting virtually, all required IT equipment would be sent in the post. However, you will of course receive much more information closer to your start date.
Okay thank you. I assume with my start date being the 1st April it will be virtual. I look forwarding to hearing from EY with additional info!
Hi Kate, in relation to IT equipment, will a smartphone and a work number be included? I have a Spanish phone number at the moment and was thinking about switching to a UK one for work. Thanks for your help!
Hi Monica, yes when you join you will be given a laptop and a work mobile phone!
In a follow up to this - while we are working from home, are we reimbursed for extra costs such as wifi usage?
Hi Tiah - as part of all of our colleagues working from home, there are things that you can request all of the things to make your workstation comfortable for example, a mouse, keyboard, monitor, footrest etc. For things like wi-fi this is something you'll have to pay for yourself but there is support on the government website on HMRC to claim money back for working from home.
Brilliant thankyou!
