I chose Transaction Diligence over other graduate programmes because I liked the idea of supporting clients through in-depth, technical analysis of financials. I understood that the nature of diligence work meant that I would be working on different companies and deals with every project, providing variety to my graduate experience and opportunities to learn about different sectors and deal structures, all of which seemed very exciting. The Chartered Accountancy qualification was a motivating factor too - besides the practical aspect of giving you excellent technical knowledge and understanding, it is also a prestigious qualification which adds great value to your career in accounting and finance. I am happy to say that four years after I started my grad programme, I still feel as excited about my work in Transactions.
