Hi Jack, in OTS we typically get involved in integrating systems, operations and people. As opposed to other teams, we often continue to work with the parties involved for a while after the transaction has completed.
The day to day would typically involve managing the transaction process by updating and completing reports, analysing key business trends and communicating with Management to incorporate their views into specific parts of the transaction
Hi Shaqeal, many thanks for your insightful reply; I have applied for a graduate role in this division. What attracted you to this role?
I applied to the TAS rotational program because I wanted to experience the whole transaction process. I get to see M&A, Due diligence, Business Modelling and several other aspects. The hands on experience and technical skills gained are unlike any other grad scheme out there!
Brilliant, thank you for your time. Have you got any tips for an assessment centre in the Transaction Services Division?
I would say, generally for any AC, research about what the bigger picture is in the role is important. And there is enough information online to find out what the role really entails. Other than that, general AC tips such as; speak up but don't ignore others, keep time, speak confidently, and keep focused under time pressure apply
Fantastic, thank you.
