Starting virtually in lockdown last year I was a bit worried that it would be difficult to build good relationships with my team but this hasn't been the case at all! Colleagues in my team made a huge effort to get to know me when I started and we regularly have both work and more social catch ups. I find everyone in my team to be very welcoming and approachable which definitely helps with settling into a new team.
