I am interested in applying for an apprenticeship.
Hi - thank you for your question. After speaking with many of our tax advisors, their role is very desk based in the office (currently this is working from home) and they balance multiple clients each day rather than working on set clients for longer periods of time. They manage their work in the calendar week effectively, and only rarely is there busy season which means sometimes the week is busier with deadlines. Our tax advisors don't have to travel as far for client activity so it's definitely suited to those interested in communicating with multiple clients at once through emails and telephone calls rather than on client site.
The key skill for both apprentices and graduates is learn and learning agility. You're not expected to have any prior knowledge of tax but you'll be given lots of projects from day one so you'll need to have the willingness to learn.
