The dress code within EY is "Dress for your day" which allows flexibility in what you wear depending on the type of day you will have. For example, in our offices you are able to wear casual wear, for example, jeans and a t-shirt. However, when meeting clients you will have to wear more formal attire.
Thank you Sidd. Is it unlikely then to see people in the office in formal wear, or is it up to you?
It is completely your choice. You can dress casually in jeans etc or if you like shirt/trousers.
Thank you
Would I be right to assume we can dress casually in jeans etc for our induction days or would you recommend smart?
Hi James - I would recommend a smart approach! It's your first day, always good to make a positive first impression
I was thinking the same. Thank you Oliver
I work in Manchester and likely people will be casual for the most part, I would agree with Oliver to go a little smarter on day one but definitely don't need a suit!
We'll cover these points for you on the office virtual events so you're all feeling comfortable :)
Perfect thank you Jane!
Pleasure :)
