You won't be out of place if you're wearing jeans and a top, although always best to have a shirt in your bag in case of a sudden client call!

(I even forgot my jeans the other day so ended up wearing gym shorts all day, and no-one batted an eyelid...)

My team tends to be a bit more formal, chinos/trousers and a shirt is normal, but it definitely depends on the team and the day! I would go more smart on the first day and then sense how your team works and you can tailor accordingly.
