What is the difference between ICAS and ICAEW. Is one more respected than the other?

Hi - thanks for your question. Both ICAAS and ICAEW are of equal measure and you work towards the same qualification to become a chartered accountant. The different with them is they are different exam boards and are used differently depending on the industry you'd be working in. They provide you with the same qualification and training you need to qualify within the service line.
