Hi, I wonder will coding skills be useful for the technology team at EY?
The technology risk consultant job includes taking part in the client meeting to understand the process behind the risk management across different client's processes; then, through documentation and testing, you're able to provide assurance over the client's controls.
Coding skills may prove useful, but are not essential Jade
Oh so the technology consultant role is to provide clients with knowledge as oppose to working for EY if that makes sense?
I see, thank you Jakub. :)
It really depends, James, as you can be involved in variety of different client engagements - however, the our core work is around providing assurance over client's controls - it's quite similar to Assurance job in some aspects.
Ahh ok i understand. Thank you :)
