Hi! Thanks for taking the time to run this chat. I am a final year BSc Economics student looking to join EY FAAS or a tax consulting role. As per the question I am wondering if anyone could provide a timeline of a "standard" career at EY and the progression opportunities available?
Hi Struan, so for me and most other grads joining through the graduate scheme, we join as analysts. This lasts for 3 years whilst we work and get our CA qualification. After the 3 years and completing all the CA exams we automatically get promoted to Executive. After this, you would have to make a business case to get promoted to more senior positions like Manager, Senior Manager, Assistant Director, etc.
Thanks, Daevasyaa!
Just to add to above questions, Grads need to be from any particular location, if so how many Grads are selected in particular time frame. How many Grads from APAC region like india
Do you want to apply to a EY firm in the UK or India?
