I applied for Discover EY programme. However, I was unsuccessful on the last stage which is the Online scenario assessment.
Hi Emujin - thank you for your question. The best way to practice for the Job Simulation is to do your commercial research about EY, the Service line your applying to, and the motivations for your applications to the location as well. To practice the video style questions, the best way is to practice under timed conditions and record yourself speaking and watch yourself back so you can see how you've responded. It's really important to be yourself at this stage and imagine you were at a face to face interview.
Thank you very much, Verity. I was wondering how do I do a proper research about companies in general? Should I rely on their own website or can I talk to current employees and mention then during the application process?
Hi Emujin - the website is always a really good place to start to figure out the companies values, purpose and culture. It's always really good to have an overview on the current climate in the world of business, finance, and technology.
And it's always really important to make sure you're prepared on why you've applied to the service line. So remember why you're applying and show why you're passionate and motivated.
