You're not expected to know anything when you first join. What you will learn depends on which programme and service line you applied to but typically it will be the basics you need to learn for your job, normally learning while you are doing it. Sometimes the college work you are doing will help too. If you have any ideas at this point to what service line you are interested in, let us know :)
In the first 6 months you will get a mixture of training through a few exams at college, and some EY internal training. You also get a lot of hands on training through working with more senior colleagues. It can definitely be a bit of a learning curve, but as Jasmine mentioned, there is no expectation for you to know anything when you are starting, so you are very well supported.
