More from my tax experience but very applicable still - For me it was the opportunities for professional development outside of the day-to-day role are great. EY Ripple offers various programs and workshops such as the EY Foundation's Maths Mindset and Finance Workshops which support young people and enhance their skills. These initiatives provided me with the chance to contribute to the community through volunteering. In my first 7 months I have already had the opportunity to work within GCR on a client tax audit which has given me the opportunity to broaden my understanding and work with other employees from across the country. Also with the exams EY has been incredibly supportive organizing Teams Meetings to discuss the syllabus format etc. They also give you sufficient time to prepare for my exams and don’t expect you to do work while away at college and training meaning you can solely focus on studies
