Hi Beth, thanks for your question. My first week was as follows : Wednesday we came into the office (for me this is Reading) and collected our laptop and other office equipment such as pen, notebook etc. On Thursday we attended an event at a separate venue, this was attended by all first years both apprentices and graduates from all offices across the country. On Friday we returned to our own EY office to set up our laptops, some of the senior office staff came into talk to us and we ended the day with an informal office welcome social for all of the EY Reading team across different service lines to welcome the new joiners.
They give you a laptop!? Which type?
