Hi there,
Many thanks for your great question. It is fantastic to see that you're already thinking of how to add value to your teams and wider EY.
In terms of development, we understand that the transition from university studies to professional work can be intense and therefore, we don't like to put too much pressure on you. We would however love to see within your first 6 months, a strong sense of professional curiosity - asking questions, developing innovative solutions and generally widening your knowledge. You will also (with most programmes) begin studying for a professional qualification, so we'd expect to see engagement with your studies so you can effectively apply your learnings in client projects/engagements.
If I was to give anyone a tip, it would be - ask questions and ensure you speak up. That way, we know you're engaged and passionate about asking better questions to help drive our firm purpose.
Many thanks,
Josh Burton
