I do not believe there is necessarily one degree that is the most helpful for Tax. Within a team you will find multiple different backgrounds. Most degrees will provide the analytical skills that are helpful when considering a career in tax. The most important factor in starting a career in tax is a thirst for knowledge and an interest in the subject. The rules are constantly changing and the processes evolve over time.

I agree with Honor. I got a Degree in Geography and other than helping me know what time zones countries are in for phone calls with them it is more about the skills you pick up.
