Hruthish K. asked a question to Nicholas N.
Hi Nicholas,
I hope you’re doing well. I’ve been actively applying for roles at EY as I truly believe my skills, experience, and mindset align perfectly with what the firm is looking for, especially in Internal Audit, Risk, and Wealth & Asset Management. Despite my confidence in being a strong fit — and in fact someone who could be one of the best contributors in the team while being a committed team player — I’ve faced constant rejections at the application stage.
Based on my CV and background in consulting, internal audit, risk management frameworks, and stakeholder engagement, I would greatly value your insight on what may be holding my application back. I’m also keen to understand what truly makes a candidate stand out in EY’s recruitment process, beyond meeting the stated role requirements so that I can refine my profile and approach.
Joining EY has been a long-term goal of mine, not just for career progression, but also to develop into a values-driven auditor and make a meaningful contribution to the firm’s vision of building a better working world.
Thank you in advance for your time and advice.
Best regards,
Hruthish Kumar Kadabahalli
