I was waitlisted last year & have been fast tracked. I must attend an EYX in Dec at Manchester for Assurance grad scheme
Hi Shahzoonia, thanks for your message. For our EYX stage you can expect to do some individual exercises and some group exerci
ses along side other candidates. The individual session is focused around answering written questions and some numerical questions. he group session is based around a group project where you need to work together to read, analyse, and come up with recommendations based on a hypothetical business case. The EYX also has other plenary / non assessed sessions where you are able to meet new joiners of EY and ask them your questions. For our Audit roles this year our EYX will be in person, for all other roles it will be virtual. I hope that helps!
Thank you . So mine is in person for assurance. And if i don’t do as well in the individual numerical question but i do perform well in the written part, group exercises and the interview will that numerical part affect my overall score or outcome?
Hi Shahzoonia, I can quickly jump in here. When making a decision, we take into account your performance across the board, but at the end of the day we are looking for the right person, not the right score. Our EYX's are an amazing opportunity to showcase your attitude and skills to the fullest.
Thank you so much that makes me feel much better. I was told there will also be an interview even though i did one last year which had me give a presentation on a chosen topic. Will the interview on the EYX day be different or what kind of non conventional questions can i expect?
Hi Shahzoonia, I would recommend checking out the resources & helpful information at ey.com/students. There is an opportunity to practice assessments, as well as learn more about how we recruit and what we are looking forAnd of course, we wish you the best of luck in your application
