Hi Karolina - thanks for your question! I think the best thing to do when applying is to make sure you understand what is required at each stage of the application process. You can see these clearly outlined here: https://www.ey.com/en_uk/careers/students/application-process if you click on the Programme to which you are applying. It's best to read through the details for each stage so that you know how to prepare!
Thank you for your response, is there anything you wish you would have known before applying to work at Ey or anything you wish you would have done?
I think a common suggestion for this is to ensure that you have done as much research as possible on EY and the programme/service line that you are interested in. It's important that during the application process you can clearly articulate why you are interested in that programme, service line, and location. So it might be useful to check our our website/social media channels!
I definitely agree , i think it also made me feel more certain in my decision to apply for the programme that I applied for .
In your experience,What is something that makes an application stand out ?
I think it is a bit difficult to stand out at the early stages of the application, as these are online testing stages so you don't have as much of an opportunity to differentiate yourself. However, at the EY Experience Day you certainly have a chance to shine! At the same link that I provided, you can see some tips for success at the EY Experience Day. We also offer a pre-Experience Day webinar with more suggestions. So if you make it to that stage, we can help you to stand out!
Thank you Kate. That’s definitely helped with my application!
Wonderful! Thank you for joining us today, and hope to see an application from you soon!
