Hi Taabish, UK&I Audit is normally split into sub-sectors which is the case in the London Office. This encompasses technology, media and telecommunications, consumer products and services, the energy sector, real estate, hospitality to just name a few. Hope this helps.
How does UKI audit different from financial services audit?
For Financial Services, you'll focus more on banking, insurance, and private equity clients
So the difference is only just in the clients that you work with, nothing else?
Could you please suggest me a current topic I can speak about in UKI audit?
The type of clients of working is a main difference, and also the type of exams you'll be studying
Could you elaborate on the latter? I thought both study ACA?
Hi Taabish - here's a useful page to understand more about UKI audit https://www.ey.com/en_uk/careers/what-you-can-do-here/assurance
You do study for ACA - but you'll either study ICAAS or ICAEW
Which one do you study for UKI audit?
You'll either study ICAEW or ICAAS - it depends on the year group. As they are equivalent to each other it changes which one's chosen
