My biggest challenge was moving a big companies tax work from a competitor to EY in the middle of the Covid pandemic - in 3 months. Having to do this without having the chance to meet face to face with either my own teams or the client or the competitor was quite challenging as you can imagine. Agility is key to do a great job! Dealing with ever changing legislation is always good fun - Budget day is never dull ;-)

So it was really around engagement and leadership - you need to get buy in from the team you work with to create a shared vision of what you are trying to achieve. Create a common goal, be open and honest about the challenges - pretending everything is always easy isnt right.
