We call abroad opportunities at EY 'secondments', so you can essentially contract work in another abroad EY office for a certain period of time (2 months to a even a few years) and then when that is finished, you carry on working at your original office so your contract is still in place. Although I haven't done a secondment myself, I know that there are many available - I've known people who have gone to the Bahamas, New York, Australia and have absolutely loved working in a different environment to the UK.
