Hi! In the Bristol office we only have a life insurance actuarial team whereas in London they have life, non-life and pensions.
The Bristol office is much smaller and, as a result, very friendly and social. You often see the same people in the office everyday so it gives you a chance to build a stronger relationship with your team and people are more likely to think of you next time they're putting together a project team.
We often work across service lines and across offices at EY so I haven't found any difference in opportunities joining a regional office compared to some of my London-based colleagues. For example, I have been involved with two Bristol-based life actuarial projects, one London-based non-life actuarial project and one London-based core consulting project.
