Transferring From Technology Risk to Technology Consulting

Hi, I was recently offered a graduate role as a Technology Risk Consultant and due to start in september. Over the past few months I realised that my backgound and skills align more closely to the technology consulting role and so I was wondering if there was any possibility of switching. Thanks!
