Hi! I’m not sure if any of you are located in Bristol (the office I’ll be joining) but I was interested to hear whether the team get up to much outside of work hours? I’d be interested to know about other locations too; I’m moving to a completely new area and want to get involved in what I can!!
Hi David, within your team you'll often have socials as well as within your own office. We had an email recently about company wide socials too!
Hi David, I'm from the Manchester office and my team is really sociable! We regularly go for casual after work drinks or organised socials. For example we're going on a team bowling trip after work tonight!
I'm in the Manchester office so a different team but since I joined we've had monthly team lunches and then have a few evening socials with other EY or external teams every few months. It's common to also go out outside of work with people from other grad schemes you've met in college.
When you join, you will be one of many new joiners in the same position. There will also be recent joiners from a year or two above who will be keen to go out and have fun in and out of the office. In the Southampton office we have regular events especially for days such as Halloween and Easter. I have also been to football games, bowling and karaoke with co workers. We have a 5 a side team too! There is lots to do
From a London perspective I can say the social life is really incredible. Some of my closest friends have come from my office as we are constantly going out after work or taking part in social events :)
This all sounds amazing! Thankyou everyone, really looking forward to it :D
