Set amount of time periods between study and work for ICAS

Is there a set timeline on when each teaching course starts because every exam happens on the 7th week of the classes but is it split into 7 weeks class, x amount of time working, 7 weeks again and so on?

There are set exam dates through the ICAS exam board which happen 2/3 times a year. Each exam sitting has lots of different exams you can take. Depending on the number of exams your taking in that sitting there will be a different amount of study leave before that date.

In your first year you will do more exams, so you tend to have more time out of the office, as you go through, your exams become more spaced out, so you will have more time in the office. However, there isn't a set format or number of weeks in and out of the office.

I see, I guess the teaching time for the first course is 7 weeks but it is not set and changes depending on the requirements?

Thank you for the other part.

Yes - correct, there will be 4 exams during the first course over a block of two days
