Hi Olivia. Wouldn't suggest any learning/pre-reading. Brushing up on your excel skills will help you get a running start. Possibly read a few annual reports of some larger companies to get an idea of what's included in them - best ones will be 'plcs'.

Which companies would you recommend to look at?

Take a look through the FTSE100 and FTSE250 and look for companies that might interest you. Or alternatively think of some of the bigger companies in your area or in sectors that might interest you.
