Hello, I was doing my research on the placement year program of EY, and realized a section saying "Professional qualification Chartered Accountancy (ICAEW in England or ICAS in Scotland)". Does this mean these are the requirements for applying this role, thus I must have one of these certificates?
Hi there, thanks for your question. For eligibility requirements, you'll need to go to the programme page and scroll down to the "Eligibility for applying" section to learn more. I have included an example of what this section includes but I recommend checking this section for the placement you're looking to apply to as the requirements can differ per programme:
If you’re in your penultimate year at university and your course includes a placement year, this programme is for you.
We operate an open access policy, meaning we don’t screen out applications on your academic performance alone. You will, however, need to be working towards an honours degree in any subject, have a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, or in your home language if you do not hold English Language GCSE, and three A-levels/Five Highers (or equivalent) to be eligible to apply
I hope this helps!
