National Insurance Number evidence

One of the documents that I have to upload on my offer portal is my National Insurance Number. I have applied for one but have not currently received it. Should I upload evidence of the application to the portal, or just wait till I get the number and then send the evidence to the careers team?

There is no deadline for this - please just let us know when HMRC have provided you with one, you can upload this information as and when you have it :)

Similar to Saad's situation, I was asked to apply for an NI Number but on the website it says that I can only apply for the NI number once im in UK and have the right to work, which I am still awaiting from the immigration team. Would I be able to submit my NI Number later (i.e near or after the start date) in this case?

Hi, so HMRC recently amended by tax code. But my current P60 form has the previous incorrect one. I do not have a P45. Would a salary slip for National insurance work?

    Yes that would work
