I am a student who is currently studying Linguistics at University of Cambridge and will be graduating in June. I would like to gain some experience in consultancy and/or audit and pursue my career in relevant field, but most of my previous working experience is irrelevant. It would be better for me to get to know this field through internships, but these positions are mostly open for undergraduate students. According to my situation, am I eligible to start my career as a summer intern?
Hi Yimeng, unfortunately you will need to apply for our Graduate programmes that start in September. You need to be in your penultimate year to complete a Summer Internship.
i think across the industry you may find it hard to secure a summer internship due to this rule but some smaller firms or other industries may be more open to summer interships for last year students.
Thank you for answering my question. In this case, can I apply for the 2026 Graduate scheme in September?
Thats correct!
we also have some practice application questions you can complete before you put your real application through. You can find these on our website under the preperation hub

That's great! Thank you for the information. May I connect with your linkedin account? It would be nice if I could ask an internal employee about further questions :)
