Hi there, as the question implies - I would be interested - what was the first task you were assigned to, when you started working at EY (either as an experienced professional, or through a graduate scheme)
My first task in the team was working on a benchmarking survey that we produce everyday to help clients set assumptions and to help audit teams as well
It required analysing client responses, creating charts to help readers visualise them and presenting them back to senior members of the client team
My first task was completing a market survey on funding levels for various pension schemes. This involved determining the level of assets held by pension schemes relative to the size of their future liabilities.
I meant every year not every day (my bad)
Was this task something you were working on yourself - or was this something you did it as part of a team?
Mine was as part of a team, so I had a lot of support and mentoring throughout
My first task was reading through the client's reserving report from the previous year.
