Hi India
Thank you for your question. There is nothing to prepare prior to an EY Experience Day, all the resources and information that you will need will be provided on the day. My advice would be to make sure to relax, be yourself and ask plenty of questions - it's the first time we will meet you and you us, so make sure to find out as much as possible about the role and life at EY. During the group exercise, remember to keep an eye on the time and voice your opinions. Remember, we can't mark you on what you don't say! So ensure to share your thoughts with the team.
Good luck! I hope it goes well :)
Thank you Bessie! That's really helpful. I understand that there will be both individual and group based activities, will the 1-1 interviews be more strength based or should I expect a case study as well?
I am applying from a non-finance background (MA Spanish and Philosophy) so I want to make sure I am as well prepared as possible :)
The interviews will be a combination of strengths based and motivational questions - there is no case study to prepare for.
Don't worry about not coming from a finance background - we recruit people from across a wide range of degree disciplines! :)
That's great to hear thank you! Final question - I know exact dates are not confirmed until the offer stage but I was wondering if it is possible to confirm the rough dates as I cannot find them online? I have just received an internship offer elsewhere with relatively flexible dates so in an ideal world would love to be able to do both :)
Is this for a Summer Internship, an Industrial Placement or a Graduate Scheme?
Summer Internship - Transaction Diligence in the London office
It's the 30th June - 25th July :) And with the Summer Internship, you are not required to complete a final interview :)
Thank you so much for all your help Bessie! Does that mean the individual tasks will not be an interview but more online tests?
The individual exercise will be an online assessment - you will be provided with resources and a form to complete on the day.
