Hi Victoria. The qualification route for a graduate will either be with ICAEW or ICAS so you will qualify either as a ACA or CA. For both, the minimum time to be qualified is 3 years as there is a minimum time qualification requirement.

I study ICAS and I will be exam qualified by the end of my second year however have to complete a minimum of 450 experience days to be fully qualified.

    Thank you.
Does that mean the least time for qualification is 3 years?

How would you compare working towards the qualification to uni? Thank you.

Yes the qualification time is typically a minimum of 3 years

The qualification is similar to university study - you are responsible for your own study and the amount of time you spend dedicated to study. The content is quite large in volume and quite simple at the start however at the later stages it steadily becomes more complex.

Hello, is there any mandatory requirement for graduates to become qualified before they can leave EY?

Hi Kinsley. Graduates are able to leave at any time, however to be fully qualified you will have to have completed all of your exams and time experience.
