Is a C1 German level necessary/sufficient to work at EY Germany? Also,, how many law ECTS needed for legal consulting?

Hello, I am a French native who studied law and public policy across Europe. I hold: - a 60 ECTS MSc in Public Policy from the University of Edinburgh, with a strong legal focus during my thesis on EU energy policy (English taught); - a 180 ECTS BA in Political Science ( including 41 ECTS in Law) from the University of Mulhouse (French taught), and - a B2 German level. - a C2 English Level. - no relevant work experience, but 5 months of job experience in 2 different industries (tourism, arts) and proven high interpersonal and workplace skills. I am preparing for mid-2024: - a 120 ECTS L.LM in Int. and Eur. Law (concentration on economic law, compliance, regulation, trade and investment law, but only 1.5 ECTS in Tax Law) from Saarlandes Uni (English taught) (end of programme: July 2024) ; - a C1 German language certificate oriented on professional language skills. Past mid-2024, which jobs at your offices in Germany am I eligible for? Looking forward to your response, please accept my most respectful greetings.

    Hi there,

Many thanks for your question and introduction.

Sadly, I am only able to advise on our Early Careers roles that we have within UK and Ireland. Our German vacancies will have different entry requirements. I would therefore advise you taking a look at this link - https://www.ey.com/en_gl/careers/how-to-join-us which will help you navigate around our global roles.

Through this link, you will also be able to access contact information and details of our recruiters which would be a great point of contact for you to determine your eligibility.

    I hope this helps.
