In the EY graduate tax program, you study towards your ICAS/ICAEW. What kind of support does EY provide during this?

Specifically I am curious about learning resources, exam leave, or other courses to help graduates build a foundation in tax?

EY provides quite a lot of support for exam study. We use BPP as our tutors for the qualifications and we are given study leave to attend college and for personal exam study too. BPP provide ample support through their tutors and resources

That sounds wonderful! Could you tell me more about what studying and working is like day to day?

Generally, when you are in college, you are not working at the same time. The time is dedicated to study. However, in between the teaching stage and the exam, you may have some study leave and the rest of the time, you may be working, and try and fit studying around your work days. For the most part, while you are working towards an exam, the team is flexible and so you shouldn't feel overloaded. However, often I would take some annual leave prior to the exam to focus

Thank you so much Lolade, I really appreciate the insight. If you don't mind me asking, when you refer to college do you mean the aforementioned BPP tutors?
