Hi Ben - with regards to Transactions, it is split into sub-service lines, each which specialise in different areas, including Capital Objectives, Insolvencies, Business Modelling, Mergers and Acquisitions and Valuation, just to name a few of many! We work with a range of different clients both from the office and at client site depending on the nature of the work!

I started my career at EY in audit and I felt it was a great all round view of a business. I came from a non-related background (I studied a degree in languages) and I found it brought me up to speed with the business world really quickly. You get to learn about all the different areas of a business (so not just focused on say tax or loans or whatever) and you also get to work with a variety of clients in different industries. You also get to study towards the chartered accountancy qualification which is a highly regarded business qualification and also gives you more knowledge in the business world.
