Hi Uwais, you will be given a work laptop and typically a choice of work mobile phone when you join EY. Currently its an HP laptop and iPhone 14
Can I inquire as to what you mean relating to how best to operate them?
as in from your experience how would you advise in the amount of usage and what are phones mostly used for.
Hi Uwais, laptops are mainly used throughout the day for projects/engagements you are working on. Phones are mainly used to access Microsoft Teams to speak with colleagues or speak on the phone with the client. You can access your emails, EY apps etc. It's for anything work-related that can be done or is easier to do on your phone but allows you to have the boundaries between your work and personal phone.
Can this be switched to a Samsung equivalent if possible ?
Hi Callum, the agreement is direct with Vodafone so it depends on their offering at the time! Shortly after you join you will receive a link to order a device and the current options will be available. Sorry I don't have this to hand :)
So is the phone strictly a work phone or is it a personal/work phone?
That's no worries thank you !
Hi Sam, it is a work phone but with an added cost, it could be a personal/work phone.
Ok, thanks Rachel.
No worries Sam!
